One of the most beautiful seasons in Nature is simply Spring, when birds build their nests and flowers are at the height of their splendor.
Cherry blossoms have always enchanted me, so I decided to make them very small in paper and paint them with acrylic paints. The mother bird, worried about the chick that has just hatched, comes to care for it. The part that moves in the automaton is exactly that—the wings flapping to reach the chick.
Made in plastic ceramic: the eggs, birds, and nest; the trunks of the cherry tree are made from malleable paper. The mother bird’s wings are made from painted paper.
