An owl, hidden in its tree hollow, peeks out curiously to see what is happening in the forest. Its little bird friend approaches and says: “Let me see, let me see… what’s going on?”
In this piece, I wanted to experiment by combining several techniques in a single work: felting for the little animals, paper clay for the tree, and painting for the background.
This is somewhat how the process happens in my mind: “What if I do this like this? What if I add that there? Will it work?”
I think it worked.
This mixed technique took shape inside a white frame, chosen to highlight the work and give it space to breathe.
Unique piece carefully made by Dina Cró.
